Frequently asked questions

What is FAMUS?

FAMUS is a livestreaming platform where creators broadcast live and communities watch, chat, react, and support them. It is built by Reebootradio LLC for creators and the audiences who power them.

Is the app free?

Yes. FAMUS is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Optional purchases—such as Duckets and FamPass subscriptions—are available for viewers who want to support creators or unlock eligible benefits.

Where can I download FAMUS?

Use the official buttons above. On Apple, look for “FAMUS: Live Stream & Gaming” by Reebootradio LLC. On Android, use the official Google Play listing from Fam-us.

How do I watch a live stream?

Open FAMUS, browse the live feed or search for a creator, and tap a live channel to start watching.

Do I need an account?

Create an account to use personalized and interactive features such as chat, following creators, notifications, gifts, subscriptions, and broadcasting. Registration is free.

How do chat and reactions work?

While watching a live channel, open chat to send messages, emotes, and available reactions in real time. Follow the community rules and any channel-specific moderation settings.

How do I know when a creator goes live?

Follow the creator in FAMUS and allow notifications on your device. Notification delivery also depends on your iOS or Android notification settings.

How can I support a creator?

Viewers can interact for free. Optional support includes Duckets for eligible tips and gifts, plus FamPass channel subscriptions. Prices and benefits are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

Can I watch replays or clips?

FAMUS is live-first. Clips may be available where a creator has shared them. Elite Replays are an emerging, gated feature and may not appear for every account, creator, or stream yet.

Can I stream from FAMUS?

Yes. Eligible creators can broadcast from a supported phone, or use desktop streaming software with their FAMUS stream setup. Open the creator tools in the app and follow the Go Live checks before broadcasting.

What if the stream buffers or will not play?

Check your connection, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, reopen the stream, and restart or update the app. If the issue continues, contact support with your device model, operating-system version, app version, creator/channel name, and a short description of the problem.

Where can I get help or report a problem?

Email support@fam-us.com. Safety and moderation tools are also available inside FAMUS for reporting inappropriate content or behavior.
